HI Guys,

I have rated all the movies i have ever seen and it is public but i cant see the views, just wanted to know if its possible to see views even tho it may the ratings may not be considered an actual list? or could it just be nobody has looked at my ratings? lol. Also is it possible for me to take everything on my ratings and publish it as a list? or would i have to do it manually? There is over a 1000 will take some time :( any help is much appreciated :)

Cheers,

Unfortunately the My Ratings list is missing a lot of the functionality of other IMDb lists - no ability to add notes to each title, no view counts, no way to copy things from My Ratings to another list.

We used to be able to add things to the old MyMovies lists via the Power Search. That option doesn't appear to exist anymore either.

If you do take the time now to manually copy your rated movies onto a new list then going forward it should be fairly easy to keep up-to-date: every time you rate a title you can use the dropdown next to the title's "Watchlist" button to add it to your list.

(Nevermind! - thanks Dan)

You can see your ratings by clicking on this link after you have logged in:
http://www.imdb.com/list/ratings

To get to this link in IMDb:
1. Click in "Your Profile" from the pull-down menu under your name. This will bring you to your profile page.
2. Click on "Ratings" in the "Quick Links" menu.

To copy your some (or all) of the titles from your ratings to another list:
1. On your ratings page click third box to the right of "View:" This will bring up the compact view of your ratings.
2. Select the titles you wish to copy by checking the box to the left of the title.
3. From the drop-down menu next to "Copy to:" select a list to which you want to copy the title. The last option is "New list..."
4. Click the Go button.
5. Repeat this each page of your ratings.

I suggest you only copy a maximum of 50 titles at a time to prevent the process from timing out.
