I am not a total moron I feel like it's time for the front porch of the old folks home and the rocking chair and I own a small business and keep 30 desktop and laptops running 98 % 0f the time but here is my shame. I have found a movie that I've looked for such a long time and have tried for 3 days to educate myself on the requirements to download and open the file to watch this classic from my wasted just back from Vietnam
days in the 1970s. Please help me so I can stop standing in this corner with the dunce cap on

Without knowing the specific film, I can only provide a general answer. Only some of the films listed on IMDb are available to view through IMDb. If the "Watch It" box is grayed out, then the film you mentioned is not available. It is still possible that it is available for purchase at Amazon.com or other provider.

And to follow-up on Dan's point - IMDB is a movie database, streaming of films are now handled by sister (or trusted) sites and IMDB will direct you to a few of them. As far as I'm aware there are no films available to download from IMDB.

So either you are trying to do this on another site or, if you do get links within IMDB saying you can download the film, I'd be concerned that you might have some kind of virus. No need to panic, as I suspect this is a misunderstanding but if you could clarify what you are doing then we can finetune the help.
