Hi, i have been credited in a film that i did NOT work on. I have tried to email about this, but the person doesn't seem to be able to understand what I'm saying. So here is the scenario.

I got a role (speaking role) in the film River Queen. However before the filming began i had to drop out of the production, as i got in the acting school i wanted to attend and the dates of filming meant i wouldn't be able to undergo the course work. I chose to do the course work. Whoever updated the information for IMDB did not remember to delete me. Now my name appears as uncredited on the films page, however i did not work on this film in a role. If i was going to be on the film it would have been credited, though i did not follow through to working on the film.

I can give you information from my agent, my school or whatever else you require.

But can someone please help me to remove this credit, as i did not work on this film.

Best,

Chelsea Grant

Hello GG,
Can you check the on-screen credits? That's what the IMDb really goes by

Maybe you were credited on screen even though you didn't really do any work on it. In that case you can change the entry to include the attribute (credit only)

Maybe you were listed in some publicity material for the film and someone could have copied it from there

Hi Chelsea -

I reviewed the update you referenced, observing that you were attempting to remove the 'uncredited' attributes for the episode credits, I also noted that these updates were declined as our editors were unable to verify the changes and need further evidence.

As Steve mentioned above, if your name was credited on-screen but you did not work on the episode titles, you can request that the listings be updated to include the "credit only" attribute.  If this is the case, please post screen grabs for some of the episode credits here and our staff can take another look.

Hi Michelle,

Opps i have put the wrong reference. That is not the issue, the issue here is with RIVER QUEEN.

Hi Chelsea -

Thanks for clarifying.

If you didn't work on the film you will need to submit a credit deletion through our online Update form, making sure to include a detailed explanation for the removal for context.  Once your request has been submitted our editors will review the information and take the applicable actions.
