Hi, where is the option to hide the AKA option so it does not show on my profile. I did see it on my Pro profile when I was updating but can not find it anymore. Can someone pls help?
Thanks.
Thanks.

There is no way to suppress an AKA Name.
According to the filmography, Maurice Nash (II) was credited on screen in Kolonel Bunker as Maurice Nach. IMDb needs to record this to be accurate, so an (as Maurice Nach) attribute is included in the IMDb credit. This attribute causes an Alternative Name to be created so that his page will be found if someone watching Kolonel Bunker searches for the name seen on screen. That is why the AKA name must remain visible.
The only way the AKA name would be removed would be if you could show that you were never credited under that name..

That's great! That's the answer I was looking for.
One more question, if I uncheck the AKA checkbox, would users still get redirected to my page?
As the information below is correct though, but the last sentence says "That is why the AKA name must remain visible." Is this TRUE?

You will still be searchable under the alternate spelling even on IMDbPro. Only the display on your IMDbPro name page is affected.
