Added some titles but most are blank, as I know they must be on there because they were big movies, but either I haven't seen them or I just don't know what to put.  Please suggest!

Don't get why it was criticized that heavily, though.

Good point about Frozen II, but technically the plot and the internet only consider Elsa an element, because she is connected to nature.  Anna represents the human side of it; she cannot hear the voice or tame the spirits.  The Fifth Element is really just a joke, naming it after the Bruce Willis movie of the same name.  :)

Added Joker.  :)

Thanks! I didn’t notice “Aladdin” on the list. That makes this suggestion for “The Lion King” a part three or part four. (It depends on how you want to count “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” in relation to Disney’s 2d animated “Sleeping Beauty”.

dgranger,
I am working on a separate list for live action and then one for animated Disney movies, and the theme is honest titles and taglines.  Those sound more like taglines, and in the tradition of these Honest Movie Titles: **** Edition polls, we should stick to title-sounding phrases only.  But, once I get those other lists up and running on here, I will gladly consider those!  :D  Thanks!

A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I watched Terminator: Dark Fate at the cinema, and when we finished, he asked me what I thought about the movie.
My honest answer was this:
I've already seen this film a couple of times before. Only then, it was called The Terminator... and Terminator 2... and Terminator 3... and Terminator: Salvation... and Terminator: Genysis.
What I was trying to say is, Dark Fate borrowed the core plot from the first two films, the villain from T3, the part-machine part-human character from T:S, and ''old Arnold'' from T:G.

So, yeah, my blunt and unfunny title for this film is:
TERMINATOR 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5

I have an honest title for Shazam! - Captain Marvel.

For those who don't know, that was the original name of Shazam, when he was published by Fawcett Comics, until 1939 to 1953.
When DC Comics bought the rights to the character in the early '70s, they couldn't call the character Captain Marvel, because Marvel Comics debuted their character called Captain Marvel in 1967 and trademarked that name.
So, DC Comics decided to use the name Shazam: The Original Captain Marvel, but Marvel Comics was against it, so it was shortened to just Shazam.

Ironically, Fawcett Comics were actually sued by DC Comics in the early '40s, who claimed that Captain Marvel was a ripoff of Superman. But when they bought the character a few decades later, they couldn't cash-in on his famous name. Serves them right, I suppose.

Huh... strangely enough, the title of Shazam's wiki page is called Captain Marvel, despite him not carrying that name for more than 60 years.

“Toy Story 4” - “The Lost Toys” or “Woody’s Last Roundup: Toy Story Ends” or “Woody and Bo-Peep Go Rogue”. Frankly, where can the storyline can go from here? The storylines have always centered around Woody and Buzz. Now Woody is gone. Where can the story go? No where in my opinion. It is done.

Ah, I never looked at it that way before.  I saw a lot of good in it, which I still believe was there, but I never saw it as ruining Woody's values.  Now that you've said that, it is very poor writing to have Woody admit he apparently didn't want an owner.  But then again, I think that also raises two more good points:  1) Although Woody loved Andy, he'd been "lying" to himself all this time, like many people do with their own lives.  You can have a great relationship/experience, but once it's over you have to move on.  And 2) Love is a powerful thing and it's natural for Woody's affection for Bo Peep to convice him to move on.  Almost saying, he's not clingy and "childish" anymore, he's mature and can think for himself.

I guess it just depends on how one looks at it.  :)

I agree with your points but I still look at them as problematic for different reasons.

 1) kind of compromises the credibility of the other movies (especially the third) when you look at them retrospectively and 2) is contradictory because it does offer an alternate scenario for toys: living outside that sacred bond with the owner, but basically we've always seen Woody interacting with the other toys for the past two decades, with Buzz and Jessie and all the team, so the so-called lesson of "4" was actually the whole narrative of the other films, toys being friends and even involved in romantic relationships (Buzz and Jessie)... maybe if Bo Peep was introduced earlier... but seeing Woody abandoning his friends for her made me feel bitter, because Buzz was Woody's second partner after Andy.

Yes, I suppose both ways of looking at it can be frustrating.  :D
I guess the main reason I liked it was because of all the stupid, new things Disney has been churning out over the past 5 years or so, it was nice to see a fun, sweet movie with heart, with genuine voice actors that didn't consist of people like Katy Perry or Justin Timberlake.  :)

We can just agree to disagree and see what we think of Toy Story 5 (if there is such a thing), lol.

I like what was said here but a point is missing. Andy is already out of the picture. At the beginning of this picture, he has a new owner who is abandoning Woody in the closet. Woody is now an abandoned toy. He now has to make the adjustment and he still helps others toys find there best owners - for lack of a better term to express it.
Personally, I don’t see how they can move the franchise forward without Woody. And I didn’t like how they demoted Buzz. In Toy Story 2, he was light years more smarter than what he was in 4. Not logical.

A honest title for X-Men: Dark Phoenix - A Phoenix Dies... To Be Reborn Yet Again.

Phoenix is a mythical bird who is immortal; whenever it dies, it rises from its ashes, starting a never-ending cycle.

20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise first had the character of Dark Phoenix appear in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand.
After that Phoenix died, it was ''reborn'' in 2019's X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
After that Phoenix died, it will certainly be ''reborn'' again, because Disney bought the right to the X-Men franchise from Fox, and Jean Grey (Dark Phoenix) is one of the main characters.

Funny and good point, but it sounds more like a phrase than a title.  I was wondering maybe 'Fifty Shades of Jean Grey", but I don't know if it's too "risque".  :)  Never seen FSOG, but I get the gist of it.

In my humble opinion, "Fifty Shades of Jean Grey" sounds like a character study and a more interesting film than X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

'Good one, Narnia, with a lot of very funny titles. I don't think you need to include 'Ad Astra' or the Alita movie if you don't have anything for them. Neither were really popular compared to some of the movies on the list so leaving them out would not seem like an omission at all. Also, this could very likely get a few suggestions after going live so leaving a couple spots open probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

Bravo on another fun poll.
It's going to be difficult to vote for just one. : )
