Hotels credited as people Thanks?!

I was searching for the name of a person, and I came up with this search result:
http://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=Chotel&s=nm

I went calmly down the list, deleting the wrong introduction of Hotels in several movies, usually in the Thanks section, I undid the knot in my good scout's kerchief for the first, went through another half a dozen, and finally concluded that such an audit and correction job was worth some money.

Will IMDb have some redundant staff to ascribe to do this job, or money enough to hire a jobless person to do this?

I suppose that the number of similar issues - I found several other obvious company names in the Thanks section - justifies a WARNING in that section to the distracted contributors, that company thanks should go into the Other Companies section.

Hi Artemis-9 -

Thank you for reporting this issue and submitting the data corrections thus far, we truly appreciate it!

I have filed a ticket for our editorial staff to do a sweep and clean-up for these hotel listings that are  incorrectly listed under name pages on the site, and they will take a look as soon as they can.  Thanks again!

Hi there Artemis-9,

Thank you for your patience whilst we investigated this matter. I can confirm that some 120+ badly formatted name pages have now been removed the site. There were a couple of contributors responsible for a lot of these and so coaching messages have been sent to them.

What remains are a number of name pages which legitimately have 'hotel' in their name, some of these belong to bands or musical groups.

We've also taken steps internally to restrict the creation of similar bad name pages in the future.

Many thanks again for flagging this.

Jay
