How can I add a new writer to the title?

I want to add another writer of the script in IMDB, how can i do it? I can change almost everything but not the writers.

Which title? The only time I've seen where you cannot edit the writers is when it is marked WGA.

At the bottom of that page, there is a button that says "Edit Page". Hit that button and on the next screen you will be given the opportunity to edit many fields. Go to the writers and select "Add 1 Credit"

I did this and didn't run into any problem. I can't further check because that would require me to know the writer being added.
