How can I locate, create, and view LISTS on the IMDB App for Android?!

No matter where I look, I cannot access the LISTS on the IMDB app for Android. I ALWAYS keep my app up to date. I love IMDB so I am on it daily, and going through LISTS and discovering new shows and actors and movies, it has been, frankly, a real pain in my rear. As of today, in order to search for certain lists and actors and whatnot, I have to pull up Google Chrome browser separately and Google it, (for example: Best Psychological Thrillers) and then it just opens as a web page and doesn't take me back to the app. I cannot find it anywhere, and like I said, LISTS are my favorite part of IMDB.

Has anyone else had this trouble before?

Is this a know issue?

Is there a fix or a workaround?

Is there a way to contact IMDB through email or phone, to save time?

Please help. It really is frustrating me!!

Hi Angela Shrum,

I can only help you with the Kindle Fire app. I'm assuming that the Android app works the same. If not, I hope an IMDb staff member corrects my misunderstanding.

You need to be signed into your IMDb account in the app.

At the top of the display, you should see the IMDb logo at the far left, and a spy glass and a yellow person icon in a circle. When you click on the yellow person, you should see you account page.

On your account page your should see:

Top Line:
A backward arrow on the far left, and a spy glass and a yellow person icon in a circle.

Next Line:
A white person icon on the far left and three vertical dots on the far right.

When you click on the three dots, you should see:
  • Setting
  • Help
  • About
  • Sign Out
In the next block, you should see links for:
  • Watchlist
  • Your Lists
  • Ratings
  • Reviews
  • Favorite Theaters
  • Check-ins
Finally, you should see a block for Recent History.

If you click Your List, you should see the Your Lists page. This page includes a list of your list.

If you click on the yellow plus sign on the Your List page, you can add a list.

If you click one of your lists, you will see two icon on the far right: an upside down triangle and three vertical dots.

Clicking on the upside down triangle brings up this menu:
  • Sorted  By
  • Title Type
  • Ways to Watch
  • Genres
  • Content Rating
  • Your Rating

Clicking on the three vertical dots brings up this menu:
  • List settings
  • Delete List
  • Private
You can delete an item from the list by swiping the item to the right. If you delete an item, you are allowed to undo the delete.

You can add an item to the list by clicking the yellow plus sign at the bottom of the page.

To save any changes, click the backward arrow at the top left of the page.

on top of Dan's post, I can confirm for the Android app:
on upper right corner, click on the stylized person icon.
It should prompt you to login if you are not, and then allow to click on Watchlist and Your Lists.

It seems the main issue she was having was finding other user's lists on the app, which is why she mentioned "discovering" and having to google lists such as "Best Psychological Thrillers".  On the site they populate in the column on the right when you're on title pages, but I also haven't been able to find these lists on the app.  Is this even possible?
