From the IMDb Help Desk Page
Person X and Person Y are the same, how can I combine their listings?

Please write back if you have any more questions on merging name pages.

IMDb doesn't provide support by phone. Only through this site (Get Satisfaction) or privately through the IMDb Help Desk form.
http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/contact_form

Can you post the URLs of the name pages you want to merge? An IMDb representative or a contributor can assist you on this matter.

Hi Kevin -

As GMJ requested, please post the IMDb links to the name pages on the site that need to be combined and we can then take a look for you.

The guide GMJ linked is fairly simple. And yes, it gives you the breaddown on how to merge two IMDb name pages. You just have to make sure that all the credits (both name pages) belong to the same person.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your message.

These pages have been merged together now, please allow up to 48 hours for this to reflect on all platforms.

I have the same situation going on. I've been credited on two different pages. Is there any way I can get my credits on the Josh Williams (LIV) page merged onto the Josh Williams (XLIII) page?

Hi (Joel?)

I hope you're well.

I have the same situation. Could you please merge these two pages:

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6117606/?ref_=nv_sr_1
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm8026154/?ref_=nv_sr_2

Thank you very much.

Kindest regards,
Hakeem Kazeem

Hi Hakeem -

Apologies for the delayed reply.  I just checked the site and can confirm that the two pages have now been combined to a single page.  Cheers!

How do I merge my newer page from 2018 that's: Bob Reynolds (XXI) - with only one credit  (created by 'who knows'?) with my original page: Bob Reynolds (XIX)... where all of my credits for the past ten years reside!? thanks!

3 Name merges have been submitted.
That will automatically get rid of the duplicate credits and merge all 4 name pages into one.
That is how you are supposed to do it. You don't delete. The root problem remains if you don't merge them.
(I)(V)&(VI) have been merged into (VII)
When approved there should be no Roman Numeral after the name.
There appears to be no (II)(III)(IV) in the database. Probably merged by someone else that caught previous duplicate pages.

Cheers :)

I had a minute to help a person who was not helped for 6 month.
A simple merge was not a good variant (maybe it's a reason why the rest of profiles are still alive) because of possible duplicates on credits. Moreover, a merge should be preferable into (I) profile in majority of cases.

Moreover, I can not find Tiptalee in Alexander movie.
Moreover, I am not sure it's the same person to be credited in Mysterious Island.

Now Ed helped to make me sitting and waiting how and when the illogical merges will finish. FINE.

Golfery Ruchiko, I'm awfully sorry, but have no more time for this matter.

Merges are not illogical. It is what was necessary to fix the issue.
I did not get these likes from Col Needham for nothing. over 40 of the 119 are for name merge topics

Merges are not illogical when they are the correct variant (in this topic, here is one done before for Bob Reynolds).

In view of the previous message, now we expecting that Col likes when the person who may be not credited in Alexander will have two credits there after the two profiles merged:

(BTW. I never do this, and consider as bad manners when someone in any form shows PMs to the third persons who was not involved into emailing. This is appropriate only when the mailing sides go on public with a debatable ground).
