I have added a new title to one of my lists and it currently stands on page 3, entry number 215. I want to move it to the top of the list, so it is number one on page one. I tried just entering the number 1 in the field and it is not working. How can I do that?

Hi steffib,

Lists cannot be manually ordered. You may only change the order of the list by selecting an option from the "Sort By"  menu located in the upper, right hand corner of the page.

It seems to me that it is possible to custom order a list.

One of the sort orders is List order. If you select List order for the sort option a number column appears immediately to the right of the check-boxes with the item number editable in a box.

If I  enter a different number in one (or more) of the boxes, then click on Save Reordered list, the items move to that position, with the other items renumbering accordingly.

I did a number of tests on an 11 item list, and then on a longer list changed item 401 (on page 2) to 1 and it moved to the top of the first page.

I don't know why this isn't working for the OP.
