How can I split a TV series?

Hi everyone.

This is something I've never done, so I need your help.

There is a French TV series on IMDB called Pause-café (1981-1989) (tt0167682), which has 3 seasons listed.

The problem is that if Season 1 was indeed called "Pause-café" , the Season 2 was called "Joëlle Mazart" and the season 3 was called "Pause-café, pause tendresse". S2 and 3 are spin-offs, with just the main character (Joelle Mazart) in common (with a few exceptions).

Season 2 and 3 were never broadcast under the "Pause-café" generic title. Production companies were different, episode length was different (for exemple season 1 : 55 mins each episode, season 3 : 80 mins) and some cast came back on season 2 and 3 but with different characters !
All this is very confusing when listed under just one series title.

It should therefore be split into 3 different series, each running for one season only. I would add the link between each season in the trivia section.

The thing is I dont know how to proceed for the split, even being a long time top contributor ! (nobody's perfect).

Thanks to the community for your help.
Greg

Not sure how long it should take to get a reply from the team about this kind of issue... so I'm just making sure that the message went through!
