This is an "unknown" episode of The Frontier that only has a date and 12 votes. This date is half a year before it even aired, needs to be deleted unless someone knows something I don't, and how in the world did 12 people vote for it. I guess I'm glad none of the 12 are a Top 1000 rater.

Hi, Mike.
I think, this episode can not be deleted, but may be merged into an existing one.
One of the Frontier episodes was released for Canadian users of the Discovery Canada's premium viewing service, when they promoted the "4K on Samsung UHD TV":
https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/discovery-go-ups-ante-on-home-cinematic-experience-with-4k-ultra-hd-564660351.html
and the same news inform that Frontier is further shooting in 4K.
So, logically, one of the 1st Season episodes has been aired before the general premier of the series. The problem is to know for sure which one, while we can pretend the first one. Moreover, they could release that episode not completed or otherwise changed very much.
All the above needs a deep research to understand: whether merge or keep as it is.

Nothing in that article (or several others I researched before posting) says there was a special Canadian ep. After your post I did searches trying to find any "special" episode that might have aired and can find nothing.
This ep is dated 1/16/2016, the series premiered in Canada on 11/6/2016, and on US netflix in 1/2017. The article is dated 1/8/16. The series didn't wrap filming until after 3/2016.
So at best there was likely a clip/trailer that aired and someone posted it to imdb which would explain why there is no plot, etc.
I did want to float it in case someone had some theory, but I don't believe there's anything supporting that there was an early episode that was 10 months before the premiere and at least two months before filming stopped.
Right now I suspect it was a trailer. I've done a search trying to find any trailers that came out around 1/2016 but can't find any. The only trailer I can find is 1/2017 which coincided with netflix airing the show.
(Also the first imdb review is dated 11/7/2016. Doesn't mean anything, but just another data point.)

I doubt that a video possibly released only for the clients of premium network having Samsung UHD TVs could be searched years later; but I also can not find a more specific announce. Anyway, even if the complicated theory of an exclusive release stays in hand, such release is weirdly added because there is no "limited" attribute.

Unfortunately a negative can't be proven (ie there was never this ep), but also lack of proof isn't proof that it didn't exist.
I'm curious, for new titles now a weblink as support must be supplied although I don't know if that's the case for an ep.
Perhaps if it is and was, some1 from imdb can look back at the submission.

I've submitted for its deletion. I'll see I suppose.
