From the IMDb Help Center Page:
How do I change my name?

So, keeping all of the above in mind, how should a name correction be submitted?

     1. Go to that person's page.

     2. Click on the "Edit page" button towards the bottom.

     3. Next to the "Name Correction" option click the drop down and select "Add Correction"

     4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Continue".

     5. Input the new name in to the field and select if you would like to preserve your existing name on old credits.

     6. Please be sure to indicate the reason for the correction in the Explanation field.

     7. Click "Check these updates" and correct any errors you're presented with.

     8. Press "Submit".

For step #5: When you type the new name in the Name Correction or Merge form, type the name this way:

Last name, First and middle names

Also, the credits which are currently listed should have your previously credited name listed in the Attributes section (as First Name/Last Name). This just indicates that you were credited on past titles under a different name.

I hope this helps. Please write back if you need any more assistance.

According to a section of this page...
https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/names-biographical-data/how-do-i-change-my-name/GRN6Q8GNK...#
...I should be able to do it in 8 steps, but the "Name Correction" option does not appear on my IMDbPro account after I click "Edit page."

It's possible that there may be an extra step or a missing a step or two from the instructions. Not all name corrections follow the same submission path.

See if this path works for you.

Go to the name page and click Edit page.

On the next page (Updating Information for...), under the Name Updates category, to the right of Name Correction or Merge, click the drop-down menu and change the item from No change to Add correction.

Scroll down and click the Continue button.

On the next Updating Information for... page is the form to fill out a new name. In the form, type the name this way:

Last name, First and middle names

Keep the checkbox next to the following statement as is. Do not uncheck.
Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Nathan Hare)'

In the Explanation box. type a brief statement on why the name is being changed.

(Adding my middle name to the name page. You can also add the URL of this discussion in the Explanation box.)

Click check these updates.

On the next page, you will receive a warning message. You need to acknowledge the following message.

The name 'Hare, Nathan [Your Middle Name here]' is not currently in the database.
We have these people with similar names :

Scroll down the list of names and click the button to the left of the following statement.

Correct the name to 'Hare, Nathan [Your Middle Name here]' - do not merge it with another name.

Click Re-Check these updates.

The next page should now be in green and ready to be submitted.

Click Submit these updates

Give at least 48-72 hours for processing.

Yay! I've gotten to just before the end of these steps, but can I change the name of previous credits to "Nathan Allen Hare" to ensure they all appear the same and are all listed under my page?

If I get the context right, I would answer No, as IMDb purpose is to record credits as they appear on screen.
So you may change your name display, but IMDb would ensure to retain your registered credits as they are visible ("as ..." attribute)

Nathan,

Expanding on Vincent's post, how are you listed in the credits for each title?

For titles that were released to the public, does your name is listed in the credits with or without your middle name?

For titles that are in the middle or in post-production and has not been released to the public, your credit would likely be listed with your middle name.

The attribute section for a name page just indicates that you are listed in a project's credits under a different name.

I would like to add that if you 'change the name of previous credits to "Nathan Allen Hare"' and the IMDb discover that this was not how your name appeared in the credits originally, it may affect how much credence is given too your future submissions so I would tick the box to preserve your older credits with your former stage but update your name as you would like it. This will have the effect of recording future credits with your correct name (unless someone states otherwise in their submissions).
