I want to have my account data from imdb as I am entitled to according to GDPR. I see a link to delete my account, but nowhere a link to download my data.
How is that done?

Hi Henning,
IMDb takes your privacy very seriously, and IMDb’s privacy notice can be found at https://www.imdb.com/privacy. If you would like to view your information and the options available to you in relation to IMDb’s services, visit your Account Settings. If you would like to view information about interest-based advertising and your options related to personalized ads, visit the Amazon Interest-Based Ads page.
If you would like to delete your IMDb account, please visit:
https://www.imdb.com/registration/delete
while logged in to your IMDb account and click "Permanently Delete my Account". Please note that once your IMDb account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Login methods with alternate providers (i.e. Amazon, Facebook or Google) provide an alternative method for logging into an existing or new IMDb account.

With all due respect, I think this is not the expected answer. When requested by an EU citizen, the GDPR makes it mandatory, for any company regardless of its nationality, to deliver all the data related to that individual. Just making lists available with all stored data is not enough, especially if they cannot be exported. It has to be at least in a downloadable format.
The purpose of this legislation is to make sure that individuals keep the control over their private (or non-public in the US jargon) information, which are managed by the corporation.
For all I know, Facebook does it, WhatsApp does it, Google does it. So I am afraid IMDb will have to comply with that regulation, and your legal department must already be aware of it.

And if you don't like it ..........leave/delete, to put it simply.
Henning
If it is not offered automatically via a link from the account pages, please supply an email where I can ask for my data.
Sincerely,
Henning

I am afraid this is not the rule of the game anymore ;)
