I submitted a request to add an actor to a classic TV show, but it was turned down as they said they were unable to verify. How do I get this reconsidered? The show is available on Amazon Prime for no additional charge and the scene can be viewed so easily.

Scott. You'll need five things.

1.
Could you post your contribution numbers here.
You can find those 18 digit numbers here at,
https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history
or here
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history/?ref_=helpms_ch_ci_history

2.
A URL to the video.

3.
A screengrab of the actor you are referring to and the exact time (Min:Sec) he appears on screen.

4.
URL to actors name page.

5.
A picture of that actor from his name page posted here for comparison.

Thanks

In addition to what Ed advised:
If he is listed in the credits onscreen, a screengrab of his credit would be ideal.

Hi everyone... Thanks for the help. Really appreciate it. Here is the information on Ned Beatty being in Season 3 Episode 14 of Perry Mason. He is not listed in the credits at the end of the episode.

18 Digit Contribution Number
190906-164544-743000

Video URL
https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B077LTRZNV/ref=stream_prime_hd_ep?autoplay=1&t=74

His name page URL
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000885/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1

Two screen grabs below. The third photo is from The Thief Who Came to Dinner (1973). He is on screen from about :53 to 1:14. He even has a small speaking part, and you can easily tell it is Ned Beatty just from the voice.

That does not look like Ned Beatty to me.
The voice bears a resemblance, but not definitively.
This episode originally aired in 1960. Beatty was born in '37, making him 23. This actor looks older than 23.
Beatty's first movie and tv credits on IMDb are in 1972.

Hi - OK, well I really am fairly convinced it is him. He was on stage by that for about 4 or 5 years, but admittedly not apparently in the LA area. So, you might be right, but it sure looks and sounds like him.

It is most definitely not Ned Beatty. There is an actor that looks like him.

Scott,

If the Wikipedia page is accurate, Beatty was working in theater in Virginia and Kentucky while Perry Mason was in production in California. So although there is a bit of a resemblance, it's likely not Ned Beatty in the first photo.

Hi - You might be right. I knew it was a stretch based on Deliverance being in '72, but man does that guys look and sound like him. :-(
