How do you hear from or contact an actual person from IMDB? They said to contact them and there is no way to do so. I have issues with a credit that disappeared and when I try to resubmit it, I hear to contact them...but how? I try here but nothing. Is this good customer service?

190131-025136-950000 ...just said it couldn’t verify. I understand that. I was under a principle singers contract. I did the singing and was one of the cult choir members for one scene in this episode. I understand it may not be credited since they don’t seem to recognize singers, but when I resubmitted even as uncredited, it was still denied. Even tho I’ve seen the episode, saw and heard myself, and have a copy of my principle singer contract. It’s really hard to contact or prove anything when nobody there helps. They could take lessons from IBDB, The Lortel Archives, and abouttheartist.com. They work with the actors and respond. This site is difficult.

It has a higher threshold of proof required. You can submit proof of payment for services rendered. A Call sheet. Etc. But that should be done through a different method than here. Wait a little bit for an IMDb employee to instruct you here on what you need for proof and the link to submit this info. They come into to work in about 4 hours from now. So just hang on until after that.
Thanks
Cheers

Let me see.................... You have repeated the question for the third time. It is unnecessary. One for the poster and two by you.
Please answer. It helps.
Direct your data to the immediate question.
Anticipate what an IMDb employee needs.
Ask those questions.
Thanks for your help Act_1

I’m new here. Didn’t know where to post exactly so I didn’t take a chance to not post in correct place. Your last response does not make sense and this is not helpful..
1) please answer what? 2) direct my data to what immediate question...I was the one who has been asking the questions. 3) what does an IMDB employee need....I can’t find one to help?
You don’t seem to understand. I have given all the information in my original response and now you have made things a bit more confusing. I don’t think you did it on purpose. It just hasn’t helped the issue.

Hi Kenneth -

I can see that your credit was not accepted because our editors were unable to verify the information and will need to see further evidence.  You are welcome to post any screen grabs here, such as your contract or a production still identifying you on-screen for the episode.

Alternatively, you are welcome to provide evidence to our staff privately, you can find detailed instructions on how to do so on the following Help page (look under the "Providing uncredited/unreleased Evidence" section): https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/how-can-i-submit-additional-veri...#

I went there. Most complicated procedure I have ever seen. Worse than taxes. It made me want to just forget trying to correct IMDB error. Why don’t you just have one email address where you can send the proof.? I am going to try and do what your site suggests but I don’t know if it’s possible, it’s just way too complicated. Again I feel your site needs to take lessons from IBDB, Lortel Archives and Abouttheartist.com. Much simpler and there is someone there to help. Ok I’ll try now but it shouldn’t be so complicated.

OK, so I was able to send an email but it does not give you any way to send proof either a photo or a copy of the contract. It does not give you the option of an attachment. So it doesn’t make sense. What is the point? How can I provide the evidence? It does not allow.

Provide evidence.....how? There was no way to do this in the contact email?! I wrote them but could not find a way to insert evidence/ attachment. This shouldn’t be so hard.

So I got yet another denial. But the denial is incorrect. I have seen the episode, I have seen myself, I have heard myself, I have a contract......but no one helps . Unbelievable. I’m trying here.

Hi Ken -

Unfortunately, our system has limitations and we can only accept e-mailed evidence in the form of links (at this time we cannot accept attachments or uploaded documents/images).  If you have evidence, you can upload it to a free image hosting service (like imgur.com), and provide us with those links.

To provide evidence privately, you will need to e-mail us through our Contact Form following the path: IMDb Fan/Contributor Questions -> Filmography Credits --> Provide Credit Evidence and click on the "Email" button.  Provide as much information as you can regarding the update you are trying to make as well as the links, and our editors will be able to take a look.
Let us know if you have any further questions!
