The movie "the greatest showman", theres a continuity goof that reads, " during the bar scene where zac efron and hugh jackman are singing, when zac has his coat and hat and seen walking out, next scene he doesn't have them." I know I messed up some words, but it's there. In the movie, which i have seen quite a few times (benefits of working at a theater) he is seen also throwing his stuff to the side. It just doesn't disappear like the person mentioned. So I am trying to figure out how to report an incorrect goof on imdb.

At the bottom of the Goofs page (and nearly every IMDb page) is a big IMDb-orange/gold button "Edit page". Also at the top of the category Goofs, to the far right of that heading is the small link-active word "Edit". Either leads you to the Contribution page, where you can select what you want to do.

Hello, Josh.

Adding to what bderoes said, that should be preserved on the website as "Incorrectly regarded as goof" in order to prevent people for posting it as a goof again and again (It also doubles as a trivia item of sorts - it is interesting to know what people regard as mistakes incorrectly).

Good suggestion about "Incorrectly regarded as goof".

I was able to select that Type while doing a Correction. I didn't complete the correction, because this is Josh Thompson's observation, not mine.

Nikolay, since you believe only staff members can instate this type, did you submit such a correction recently that didn't go through? Nothing like that is said on the page, but it still talks about qv notation.

Hello, bderoes.

My bad, somehow it was solid in my brain after this thread. What the situation really was about is that it could only be instated on an existing goof. Great thanks for leading me towards correction!
