How Get Video Clip Displayed at Top of Its Title Page?

How does IMDb determine whether to display an IMDb hosted
video clip in a video player at the top of a Title's page or not?

On many established/big budget titles, I see a video clip featured and displayed next to the poster image for the title, just below the title itself, and above the logline and credits, like this...

I recently created a title for a video of my own. The video is hosted at IMDb via withoutabox.com. I added a poster image for it.

But the video does not display at the top with a video player like in the Hateful Eight example above.

My listing does show the video lower down, in the Videos section of the page, but the example above does too, so I am not asking about that.

Does it just take time for my listing to age and the IMDb database software algorithm to catch up with the assets I've added to the title?

Or is there something else that needs to happen, like adding more images, or more people rating it?

Thanks.

Hi Shamus -

I'm checking on the specifics of Video display on our App title pages with our mobile staff, as soon as I hear back I will provide the relevant information here.

Hi Shamus -

Just following up here to confirm that the reason why your video is not showing up in the large hero slot on the consumer site is because the video is not a trailer. For the new title page we have currently only made trailer videos available in that slot, however that will be changing soon so keep an eye on the site over the next few months.

Hi Michelle. I have the same problem. I subscribed to IMDB Pro and get Scorecard. How do I process to put a trailer / teaser / clip in the large hero slot next to the poster? Here is an example of the page I'd like to showcase: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0292943/?ref_=nm_knf_i1
