I submitted the merge of The Fight To Be Male (1981) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0218233/?ref_=nv_sr_1  into Horizon: The Fight to Be Male (1979) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2352467/ on the 2nd January 2019.

It's now the 18th March 2019 but they still haven't been merged yet even though I added multiple links to prove the documentary is a 1979 episode of Horizon. Why is it taking so long?

Hi, Daniel Francis Gardecki. Unless there is a glitch, it does not take more than fourteen days for a submission to be either approved or declined. Would you like to share the 18-digit reference number of the title merge submission so that the IMDb staff can have a look at it?

I knew it shouldn't have taken that long. According to the processing times page IMDB has just reminded me about again, there were only 39 left to process with oldest being from the 17th March 2019. They're both merged now.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for reporting, I've now resubmitted the merge on your behalf which will go through shortly. This page will tell you what our current data processing backlogs are and this page will tell you how to track your contribution (where it is possible).

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Will
