How to correct an error?

How do I correct an error in IMDb? I want to change the name of a Director as the wrong person is credited. I submitted the change ages ago and it didn't happen, so I'm guessing this now needs verification. What do I need to provide to verify this and who do I submit it to? Thanks.

Sorry about that (and sorry for your loss). To fix an incorrect director it is not enough just to add another director.  You would need to also delete the existing director (or better, submit a correction amending the credit on the title from the old director to the new one in one change). 

In this particular case since the existing credit has been live for many years, do you have any third party evidence to support the correction?  The easiest would be to upload a screen-grab of the on-screen credit. Sorry for the extra burden, but I hope you understand that we need to verify changes like this.

I noticed today that Mike Connors has a small error in his bio--he died yesterday,  26 Jan.  The text of his bio says yesterday was SATURDAY 26 Jan.  Yesterday was Thursday, not Saturday

It looks to me like this is an autogenerated biography based on information already available on the page. I assume that the problem lies in the fact he was credited as an actress for two of the credits and that's where it picks up "she". None of the other credits have a gender associated with them. I went and edited the page to mark the gender as male to see if that will fix the biography problem.

There are two acting roles listed that are mistakenly submitted as Actress instead of Actor.
A submission has been made to correct the error, which will also correct the mini-bio. Thanks for posting.
