How to rearrange cast list order (film is released)

Dunkirk (2017) is released.  The cast list title says in Top billed order.  But the cast list is NOT in Top billed order - it is possibly in order of appearance.  This causes at least 4 of the 11 Top Billed (Billing Block) cast to not even be on the first page of cast (Branagh, D'Arcy, Styles, Murphy).   Is it possible to move the Top Billed cast to the top of the list even though the end of film credits were in order of appearance?  And if it is possible to move them, that will be a lot of work and renumbering.  Is there some easier way to move names up and down without manual renumbering?

I believe if the credits were in order of appearance that's how they should be in IMDb also. For a film like Dunkirk, order of appearance is the right way.

But the title says in Top billed order and the list is not.  If the title above the cast list said In order of appearance, then it would be correct.

The description on the website is "Cast overview, first billed only". It's true that the mobile view says "Top billed cast". Either way, IMDb's full cast list is meant to reflect the order of the full cast list on screen.

From the cast guide:

We are aware that casts in order of appearance or alphabetical order sometimes mean a lead actor is buried relatively deep in the cast list. This is somewhat unfortunate. We do have a separate system for indicating the lead actors via the "Stars" section, but this can only be amended internally by IMDb staff members.

Here is the actually Billing Block for Dunkirk, in case anyone at IMDb can do the Stars section for the ensemble cast of 11: (hope the link is allowed) http://i.imgur.com/OfDsEJu.jpg

More Info - I saw Dunkirk again.  This time I stayed for the credits.  They DO list the top billed cast first, in the same order as the billing block.   Here is a bootleg video of those end of movie cast credits:  https://twitter.com/nolanscinema/status/890990945709170688   and here is another view https://twitter.com/moongladestyles/status/890847709589946369 ..  Then later in the credits they show the full cast list in order of appearance (the order IMDb is showing).   So hopefully an IMDb staff member can do the "star" thing for the top billed cast, or reorder the cast list to put the 11 top billed actors at the front of the list.

I sincerely doubt it. It would Dunkirk an exception to how every other movie is listed.

Bad rules IMO. Sad that the most popular online film/tv database doesn't give proper credit to the stars of a movie.  Sir Ken Branagh, Cillian Murphy, James D'Arcy and Harry Styles are not even on the front page.

Don't blame IMDb. The producers of the movie decided to the list the cast in order of appearance and IMDb is only following their lead.

By bad rule I mean the ignoring that the film clearly credits the top billed stars first, and then the whole cast in order of appearance.  The rule of only using the most inclusive cast list causes that. I believe A Bridge Too Far has the same issue.

There are literally thousands of movies listed this way. It is the way that the people who produced the films wanted the cast order. Why should IMDb or anyone else complain?

As the guide says, there is a separate stars list, which can be set independently from the full cast list at IMDb's discretion. This includes three or four names, which are displayed in the main title page, in lists and some search results and in app layouts.
