How to submit a long company name - field stops accepting characters

I've been adding credits for a title. Various companies/organisations are credited as supplying archive material.

For some reason, the field validation will not allow me to add one company because it stops accepting characters in the field once a certain length is reached. I've been able to add long names in the past, so I wonder if this is a recent change.

The details are:

"Great Indian Railway Journeys" (2018) {Mysuru to Chennai (#1.3)} https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8196162/reference

The comma confirms that this is a single entry spread over two lines, rather than two separate companies.

180403-205845-216000

Company: Ames Library of South Asia, University of Minnesota [us]

I originally submitted this as University of Minnesota [us], but I've since changed it to Ames Library of South Asia [us] to make it unique so if necessary I can get a list manager to add the missing text just to this company and not to any other titles where University of Minnesota may be credited.

Am I doing it the right way or should I be submitting as University of Minnesota [us], with Ames Library of South Asia, University of Minnesota [us] as an "as" attribute?

I've submitted longer compound company names of this form in the past with no problem.

There's a length limit on Company Names of 30 characters.
Can you submit it as:
Ames Library of South Asia, UM [us]?

How interesting. I was sure I'd created longer names in the past, but maybe I'm wrong.

I've already submitted a Company Name Change request, so I imagine I'll get a response from a list manager saying that what I'm asking isn't possible. I'll leave them to work out the best way of abbreviating the entry: maybe abbreviating to "UM", and then giving the full text as an attribute.
