How to write the title in Russian?

Can someone tell me how to translate the title into Russian? Everyone keeps mentioning the Russian transliteration table, but I don't need "Tropa zmei", I need "Тропа змеи". And when I type that in the alternate title box, it shows a message about not supporting the symbols:
"This item has been rejected. You need to correct this item before it will be accepted"
How do I get past this annoying error?

The movie I'm talking about as an example is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0241588/.

Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/alternate-titles-akas/GBFBWTQG2RLMHSUR?ref_=helpms... specifically the section "9. Character set variants" and within that:
original Cyrillic KOI8-R title -> The Cyrillic title used on the title card of the film in the original country of the film corresponding to the country/language attribute and using the KOI8-R character set.

For an example of this in action, see https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0015648/releaseinfo?ref_=tt_ov_inf#akas and then looking at the details via the "Edit page" button:

Let us know if you need any further help.

Hi Spazz -

If that is the correct KOI8-R character set, then go ahead and submit that alternate title. If you encounter any issues submitting the new title, let us know here including what Warning/Error you are seeing.

well, i submitted it, idk it's just weird seeing these symbols instead of russian letters. are they going to change automatically once the submission gets accepted?

This old post confirms that the encoding should work even though the edit summary in the form shows the wrong characters:
