It sounds like it's a title (or information) that has only very recently been added to the IMDb.  It takes awhile for the edit section to catch up with the rest of the site.

If you give it a few days everything should catch up.

The title has actually been up for a year. The title was released, yet the status still says post production, and then of course you can't make any changes because it says no data exits :(

If you provide the name, and preferably a link to the Title in question, we might be able to help, but there is not much we can do with just this explanation.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2336652/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 this is the link to the title page in question. There is some incorrect information on the page. The status won't change, even though the project was completed and had been updated at one point. The cinematography credit needs to be corrected, and there are a few actors who's names have been repeated on the cast list.

You didn't mention that this is a TV Series. Once an Episode is added to a Series, IMDb restricts changes to the credits on the Series page.

All changes must be made at the episode level.

Once a credit is copied to an Episode, it will be removed from the Series page; therefore those that say (x Episodes) in the Series credit will quite likely have no data in the database at the Series level as the displayed credit is created by 'rolling up' the data from the underlying Episode pages.

That is what has occurred with all the cast and the cinematographer.

You need to edit the data on "Makin' It" Pilot (2013), not the Series page. Once the changes are accepted there, they will be displayed both there and on the Series page.

I see. I didn't even realize that was how the data is updated for the series. That makes sense though. Cheers for the help, I will make the attempts at correcting the page information.

But what if the issue is with a series cast member?  You would have to edit and correct the information for each and every episode?  For example, the page for the TV Series "Melissa & Joey" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1597420/?ref_=nv_sr_1) lists Melissa Joan Hart's character's name as "Melissa Burke" however her name on the show is actually Melanie.  To correct this one would have to edit each and every episode with the correct name?

Yes, one would - in a sense,.

However, since this is a proper database, changes can be made from either side of the credit, the Episode page or the Name page,

Because the Episode title is so complex, we always recommend adding credits from the Title side. (If identical credits need to be added to multiple Episodes, IMDb has provided a way to add them all in a single submission from the Series page.)

However, in the case you specify, an update, one would start from her Name page, and update the Character name in each of the credits, submitting them all in the one submission.

The Keep: beside each credit needs to be changed to Correct beside each credit before the credits can be modified. If there are a large number of credits to be modified, you can check the box beside Update all at the top of the form. This makes that change to all credits. Once you have changed all the desired credits, you have the option of checking the Keep unchanged box which has replace Update all. This is not required, but I find it makes it easier to check that everything was correctly updated.

Note: I have not specified it, but you need to click Continue / (Re-)Check these updates before any changes occur. All processing is done on the servers, not on your computer.
