How do I change information on an "in development" project?

How do I do something really simple like changing the status of my project?  How do I do something simple like adding a cast member?  Has imdb simply gone to a "pay" site? Because from what I can tell, in order to be able to do anything, I have to, again, sign up for imdbpro.  For anyone who would like a site similar to what imdb USED to be, please drop me an email at jw.jettwest@gmail.com.  I'd love to know how many people are as frustrated as I am.  In the meantime, if anyone can tell me how to change the status of my project or add a cast member, I would greatly appreciate it.

Jett: What is your project? I see a page for Jett West at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4719029/ but I don't see any films listed there.

If your film is currently listed as "in development", and you can provide a link to prove that your film has moved into pre-production, production or some later status, an IMDb Pro user (such as me) can submit an update to the film's production status. After the update goes through, the film's page will be available for editing on the free IMDb site, not just on Pro.

I did realize that in order to make changes to "in development", I would need to re-open my imdbpro account.  Frustrating still, a little, but, I realize it's the cost of doing business.  Thanks for the reply!

The details of In Development projects can only be seen (or updated) by IMDbPro users.

You will need to use a Pro Account to submit the changes, so you will either need to subscribe to Pro or find a current subscriber who is willing to make the submissions for you.

Once the project is out of development, Pro is no longer necessary, so if your project has moved beyond that, you only need to get a Pro subscriber to submit the Status update and (if it is accepted) you will then be able to make the other changes without a Pro subscription.
