Right now a random side character is listed as the star and I'd like to correct it.

Keep in mind that the list should be listed in credits order, regardless of who the biggest star is. But if the list is currently not listed in credits order, you can correct it like so:

Go to the title and use the Edit page button at the bottom. Under Cast select "Correct/delete" and then click Continue at the bottom. Use the check-box for "Change all" at the top, then click Check these updates at the bottom. On the next page you'll be able to change the order of the cast members. The one listed first in the credits should get the number "1" in the order column, second credit is "2", and so on. Once done, check the updates with the button again, then submit.

Thank you! I'm not able to find the "change all" option though. :/ It just gives me the option to add more roles.

When you first click on Edit page you should have the choice "Correct / Delete" in the drop-down list next to Cast. On the next page the "Correct all" (I misspelled in my previous post) choice is at the very top of the page, under the header "Cast and Crew", next to the yellow header Cast, then a drop-down box with the selection "Correct / Delete" in it, then a check-box labeled "Correct All". If you can't find it you can also use the boxes next to each name, and change from "Keep" to "Correct".

Hmmm... for whatever reason these are the only options I'm given.

Select "Correct / Delete" and click continue/check these update button at the bottom, then see if the "Hide Kept" check-box in the view you printed changes to "Correct all".

When I click continue it just refreshes the same page with no changes. I don't seem to see a "check these updates" option either. Hmmm.

Apparently there's no cast listed on your title yet. My guess would be that you have just recently added the title, and it has very recently appeared on IMDb. If that's the case, then your original submission of adding the title is in the process of being added. It can sometimes take several days after the title shows up on IMDb before all the data added in the original submission shows up. So just give a few days, for all the data to be processed and appear on the site. By then your choice for star might actually have been added correctly as well, if you added him/her correctly in the new title form.

The Correct all option only shows up when all the items in a form have the Action field set to Keep:. Since there is no cast there are no Keep:s, so the option is not shown.

You did not mention that you were talking about a TV Series. Cast and Crew are not entered on the Series level, but only on the Episodes. This data is then 'rolled up' and the resulting credits are displayed on the Series page. The credits are ordered by the number of Episodes that the person appeared in. This is fully automatic and cannot be changed.

Since stars usually appear in more episodes than other cast, they should appear at or near the top, once they are properly entered in each episode they appear in.
