How Long does it take for edits to come up?

Hey I am not going to edit the thanks section of the movies' page anymore and just do more research and edit on IMDb.com. But I have a question of the edits, what causes them to take too long to get up on the page? why can't IMDb put edits like Warner Bros. Animation was the production company of Quest for Camelot? And what takes so long to put a uncredited role in a complete crew? Also, I did research on Suzie Katayama and here is a link for movie music work: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/suzie-.... Whats the problem? Also my edit to Pulp Fiction hasn't come up due to I did research on Robert Rodriguez's involvement on the film on his trivia page (and I want to know who put it up and whats the source) and a blog/website I found but cant remember.
