i have a client who is listed on imdb. he signed up for imdbpro and it's asking for a lot of info that is already listed on the main profile. i figure, although im not sure because this is the first time i'm doing this, if the imdbpro profile connects to the public one, then i would think the info would merge? or should i go in through the main way that anyone can to update the page and submit like that. the main issue is to upload a photo although once that is updated probably would want to add more info too. Right now I don't see any way to connect or request to connect the two accounts. Wanted to try here before contacting direct.

No worries. Just don't want folks walking in the same footsteps and staff likes to merge them into one thread...

Look at the Pro vs. normal page this way. It's all the same information. It just displays differently if the user looking at the page is logged in to Pro vs. logged in regular IMDb. So, nothing needs to be done to link the two together...it's all the same data, just normal version hides some things from non-pro users (like contact info).

As to "claiming" a page to link your user account to the Name Page, it just lets you upload photos, resume, directly to the Name Page.

Re: "erase it..."

Yeah that's the down side to me jumping in there. Once there's a reply, edit and delete get disabled.
