how to obtain list of which vintage TV series may actually be viewed (rather than only extensively documented)

How can I access and peruse a list of which vintage TV shows (such as are well catalogued) can actually be viewed? My particular interest is finding of which, if any, of the (meticulously documented) 100 or so episodes of Ben Casey are available for viewing.

I am also curious whether the video has been transfer from the 35mm originals, or from (say) someone's VHS tape collection (or some intermediate level of quality in between)

This is beyond the general remit of IMDB's core database and these forums. You'd be better off posting this message on the dedicated forums for that particular show.

As Emperor has indicated, IMDb does not have this kind of information in its database. I'm hoping that one of the members of the Ben Casey message board is able to help.

When you find out any information, please re-post it or link to it in this thread. Likewise, if/when I find any pertinent information, I will share it here.

how exactly can the referred-to dedicated forums on Ben Casey be accessed? is the message board (mentioned by Dan Dassow) something different? Does it have a web address? Or is there some (possibly convoluted) way that one needs to drill down through some other means of access in order to reach such?

Go to the Ben Casey entry and scroll to the bottom of the page:
