How to search for people by Genre?

yes, i asked how to search for people by genre, NOT Title such as those that have worked on the "fantasy" genre or "western" genre or "adult" genre etc?

you can individually search a person's filmogenre to see if he/she was in an "adult" title for example but how to make a general search?

Unfortunately, we currently do not provide this type of search by Genre for individuals listed on the site; we only provide this type of search for titles.

I asked this question because by mistake i added a person who had credits for "adult" titles in one of my lists and that got the my list "blacklisted"..even though i have removed that person from the list, my list is still blacklisted. Is it possible to whitelist it?

As I think I mentioned when we discussed this - it is almost impossible to find out the offending person on those types of list, but even if you could there is no way back. I have over half a dozen blacklisted lists and there should be process in place to fix this issue or just discard it, as the system just doesn't work (and, as you've pointed out, at worst it stops someone seeing a rude word in a title, which you can see in non-porn films like the Violent Shit series, or a raunchy poster).

I know we discussed this thats why i was trying to ask an "admin" (its not like admins frequent the HELP BOARD ......EVER..) :P Hopefully Michelle would come back to this post and tell us they are trying to find way to allow lists that have been blacklisted from getting white-listed again..hopefully.

Ah yes, I went back over the thread and saw I'd covered that ground with you already ;)

It is definitely worth a separate thread (it might even be worth starting a new one under problems if this gets no more staff attention because they think they've answered the question), as, while the underlying problem may be the same, there are aspects of this which make it even trickier to work with. It is also not just you suffering from this and I'm sure there are many more out there:
