I want to thank "my parents and siblings" in the credits, but I don't see how to do that.

Hi Deane -

It is standard that most "Thanks" credits are listed to individuals on-screen by name.

If you have credited your family with "Thanks" credits on your film, you will need to submit these credits under "Thanks" of the
'Cast and Crew' section within the online Update form.

What to do if the actual onscreen credit simply states "my parents and siblings" without giving the individuals' names?

If it should be entered as a thanks credit would you enter that as John Smith (as My Parents), Jane Smith (as My Parents), etc (assuming that the submitter knew the individuals' names)?  If you don't know the people's names do you enter the names as My Parents, and My Siblings?

Or would unnamed "my parents and siblings" thanks go in Crazy Credits?

Or would unnamed "my parents and siblings" thanks just not be entered on IMDb at all?

In my opinion: first choice would be don't enter "My Parents and Siblings" on IMDb at all. Second choice would be Crazy Credits.

I don't think that a Thanks listing for a group like "My Parents and Siblings", which doesn't even include a proper noun, should generate a true IMDb credit for the group or the individuals involved, even if they are identifiable.
