When viewing my profile page at IMDb you can see the raw HTML instead of a nicely formatted list of links.

When I'm logged in, I see the page fine with proper links.  When logged out, I see the HTML.

Here's a screenshot:

And, here is how it looks when I'm logged in:

There are multiple problems with the boards profile.

  • No statement of what is supported.  HTML is only partial as is markup.
  • Very plain editor that leaves you clueless since no tools are available.
  • Not enough compatibility between the boards page and main page.
  • Not enough compatibility between either and pages on the message boards.

I have a very short bio, because of the frustration.  I do have one markup tag that works relatively on the main page, but shows up almost as is on the boards page.

BoltBait,

I see the same problem with your board profile page regardless of whether I am logged in or not.

My board profile page also shows the raw HTML instead of displaying properly when I am logged out.

Like BoltBait's board profile page, my board profile page looks fine when I am logged in.

I noticed that there are embedded spaced in the URLs for both profiles.

This appears to be a problem for all board profiles, including the one for
Col Needham.
