Hi Mr. Amato,

This appears to be IMDb's credit page for you.
Bruno Amato
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1106793/

Please look at your updates history.
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history

Please provide the Reference numbers for the credits you submitted. This will help IMDb staff check what you submitted for these credits. The reference number is of the form: 151207-123456-123456

Supergirl (TV Series) Episode #1.10 (2015) is scheduled to air on December 28, 2015.
This is the current Full Cast & Crew

Live by Night (2017) is listed as currently filming.
This is the current Full Cast & Crew

In general, IMDb uses screen credits to determine the credits for a film or television title. Since both of these production have not been publicly screened, IMDb generally depends upon information from the producers and call sheets such as the ones you provided.

Mr. Amato,

If you provide the Reference numbers for the credits you submitted, an IMDb staff member can check into this further. Otherwise, it will difficult to find out why your credits have not been applied and to remedy the situation.

Please look at your updates history.

The reference number is of the form: 151207-123456-123456

Please note: I am a long time user of IMDb and not a staff member. Only IMDb staff members can review the contents of other user's update requests via the reference number.

Hi Michelle,  I appreciate your help getting the credits added to my IMDB, however they were both added with (uncredited) next to my role which gives the impression of my being an EXTRA, and not a principle in the film and on the TV show....I would rather not even have the creditys listed if it's going to be listed like that.....please help me once more getting that fixed....thanks, Bruno

Hey Bruno,

Not sure why your credit on the feature film would be tagged (uncredited). Seems nowadays one merely has to pass within earshot of the set to be included in the onscreen credits for these. The Supergirl TV series is another story. Network TV credits are notoriously sparse, including only heads of department in many cases and a severely truncated cast list, dependent I assume on  arrangements made with SAG/AFTRA.  For the first two episodes of Supergirl, there were 24 and 22 cast members credited. Since then those numbers have dropped to between 15 and 18. Here are the details for episodes that have aired up to this point:

"Supergirl" (2015) {Pilot (#1.1)} <<24>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4525842:cast.correct
"Supergirl" (2015) {Stronger Together (#1.2)}  <<22>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4550416:cast.correct
"Supergirl" (2015) {Fight or Flight (#1.3)}  <<18>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4603116:cast.correct
"Supergirl" (2015) {Livewire (#1.4)}  <<15>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4955280:cast.correct
"Supergirl" (2015) {How Does She Do It? (#1.5)} <<18>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4944380:cast.correct
"Supergirl" (2015) {Red Faced (#1.6)} <<15>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4955282:cast.correct
"Supergirl" (2015) {Human for a Day (#1.7)}  <<17>>
https://contribute.imdb.com/updates?update=tt4955284:cast.correct

Clearly there were more actors on these episodes than the ones listed in the credits.

If you'll notice in your screencap the cast number next to your name is #20. Additionally, your role is not "named", merely "described" - Security Guard. These are red flags suggesting you probably won't be credited onscreen when the episode airs. There is nothing disparaging about being listed as uncredited in a TV series. It's all about the numbers, has nothing to do with the amount or quality of work you put in, and anyone who works in TV should know this. The episode in question won't air until after the winter break in January. At that time, if you find that you are listed in the onscreen credits. A simple correction to remove the (uncredited) attribute accompanied by a screencap displaying your credit onscreen will rectify the situation.

Hello Mayor, I submitted screengrabs of my callsheets for both projects....I could have submitted screengrabs of my contracts on both projects, but that seems a bit personal, I feel differently than you about being listed as uncredited, to me it's not about the numbers of roles I put up on IMDB but being credited as a "principle" because that is how my SAG contract lists me. Extras arent listed on callsheets with a cast number. Nowadays having "uncredited" listed in your credits means you were an extra. I will definitely be credited onscreen because that too is listed in my contract wether my scenes are deleted or not....I totally appreciate your time though responding to my IMDB problem. I submitted this to the help desk too, and hoping they will rectify the problem. thanks again!

In response to mayor defacto,
While what you wrote is true, you missed an important point.
In tv, any speaking line is contractually obligated to be credited if they are working on an ACTOR CONTRACT (co star or guest star) per screen actors guild negotiations.
This same goes for features -- up to 50 cast members. After 50 have been credited, then they don't have to credit any more on screen.

There are speaking lines who do go to people not on actor contracts, and those are not obligated to be credited in tv.
However, I know Bruno personally. I've worked with him a handful of times. He's truly one of the best and he only and always works principal actor contracts.

While I can't guarantee what the producers will actually do, I think it's a safe bet that he will be credited and should be listed as such in the database until proven otherwise.

Especially considering his body of work in studio features.

Mr. Amato,

Both Mayor Defacto and steve are prolific and knowledgeable long time contributors to IMDb. They will do their best to ensure that you are properly credited. However, until Supergirl (TV Series) Episode #1.10 (2015) and Live by Night (2017) premieres, your credits for these titles on IMDb will be subject to change.

I wish you the best of luck in getting this matter resolved and look forward to seeing you on Supergirl.

I have nothing to do with it. I'm just backing Bruno on this because he is right.
I have had plenty of problems on my own with getting updates listed properly on imdb.
Bruno is one of the best charecter actors in the business today. He's not someone falsifying credits. He's the real deal.
