I am missing several badges in my profile. For the last week, I have been doing several Image contributions, as well as Title Link and Name contributions for actors appearing in these images. The problem is that, after several of these images are approved, these contributions don't appear in my contribution history, so I think that's why my badges aren't being updated. But, when I look separately at each one of the contributions via the email received and look at the status of each of them, they are all approved.

I'm not totally sure about a new badge (although I strongly think they get added whenever someone deserves them, not just at the end or beginning of a year), but I do know for sure that when you already have a certain badge, they get updated very fast after you've reached a new "milestone" number. So for example, you currently have a Lifetime Image badge saying 75+. If you submit 25 more updates that get approved, you won't have to wait until January 2019 to see the number 100+. The same goes for the Gold vs. Silver vs. Bronze badge. (for information on the latter, see: https://www.imdb.com/badge/)
