I cannot change my IMDB ID and somebody spelled my name wrong for a film credit and when I search my name that is the only thing that I see.
My name is "Soheil Mosharraf" and when I search my name I only see "I am June" which they spelled my name wrong. This is my profile.
http://www.imdb.com/user/ur69771928/?ref_=nb_usr_prof_0
I want to add more films now. Can I talk to one of IMDB staff or customer service or something?
I have already filled up the correction forms too. I am new here and I would like to have a nice IMDB profile with all my films listed on it.
Thank you

The link you provided is your IMDb User Profile.
https://www.imdb.com/registration/accountsettings

The user page account is not connected with the IMDb Name Page listed below:

Shoheil Mosharraf

As I noticed, the name page is misspelled. To correct this, click the link with the incorrect name above.

Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click the yellow Edit page button.

On the Updating Information for Shoheil Mosharraf page, in the Name Updates section, to the right of Name Correction or Merge, click the down arrow to change the drop down menu from No change to Add correction.

Scroll down the page and click the blue Continue button.

On the next page, type the name correction this way:

Mosharraf, Soheil

(Name pages are stored on IMDb last name, first name. The name pages are displayed first name last name.)

Unclick the box to the left of the statement
Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Shoheil Mosharraf)'

In the explanation box, type a short statement why the name is being correction. For example:

Correcting misspelled first name.

Click the blue check these updates button.

On the next page, acknowledge the yellow warning items:

Scroll down and clicking the radio button to the left of the following statement:
Correct the name to 'Mosharraf, Soheil' - do not merge it with another name.

Click the check box to the left of the following statement:
Warning understood, go ahead anyway.
It's an acknowledgement that the name was spelled wrong and you're correcting the mistake.

Click the blue Re-check these updates button.

The page should now be green, which means that the submission is ready. Click the blue Submit these updates button.

Give at least 48-72 hours or more for the submission to be processed.

Please write back if you have any more questions.

Thank you for your fast reply. I have already clicked on the misspelled page and I did edit page and submitted the form. I'll just wait for the processing but I don't know why it doesn't let me change my user ID and put a space in between. Now my first name and my last name are all together. I believe it is because of this film. When I change my user name ID to "Soheil Mosharraf" it says The ID you entered was either invalid or has already been taken. I think I should just wait for the processing of this film and then fix my user ID and I wanted to add more films now but I think I should wait for the processing first.

Soheil: It's not possible to have a space in a username. You can separate your first and last name in your username by a hyphen ( - ) or an underscore ( _ ), but not a space. Or you could choose to use a completely unrelated username. For example, my username is gromit82, but that bears no resemblance to my real name.

Thank you for your reply. But what I see as user ID is what appears on top as my name and when you see IMDB pages, they have their name on the top and all the movie credits in one page. I produced a music video too and they are some other movies I have done recently and I am waiting for my page to be fixed so I can add more credits.

Right now when I type in my name to add a new credit, it shows my misspelled name.

That's your IMDb ID name. You can change it. But as gromit82 explained you can't have any spaces in the name.  Make something up, like call yourself anything you want  it's only an ID.  Or if you want your real name then it will have to be Soheil_ Mosharraf.
Go to: Your account / Change your IMDb ID.

Your IMDb ID is different from an IMDb filmmakers page. If you have made films you need a fimmakers page. But first you must put your film on IMDb.
Tell us what film it is and we will help you.

vnj: Soheil already has a name page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm8682612/.

The first name is misspelled there as "Shoheil", but Soheil said that he already submitted a correction for that based on GMJ's instructions and is waiting for that correction to be processed.

Thanks gromit82 he says he goes here, not to his actors name page.

Right now when I type in my name to add a new credit, it shows my misspelled name.

@vnj:
Credit submissions cannot be done on the user-account profile page.
Credits can be submitted after clicking the "Edit page" button
on either a Name page or a Title page.

After the pending correction is completed, so that the Name page
will show the correct spelling of the name, then the system should
show the correct spelling when Soheil adds a credit.

The name in the user-account profile (imdb.com/user URL) is
entirely separate;  it has no effect on filmography credits in the database.

Thank you guys for your comments. I got a message from IMDB help desk today too. Yes, you were right. For the IMDB ID, we cannot put space. IMDB has fixed the misspelled credit for "I am June" but now they are two different pages with my name. I think I need to wait one or two days for these two pages to merge and become one. Right now I don't see that film on my page and I have more movies to add and I am waiting for the pages to become one.
Thank you guys again.

Hello, I too am facing their same (somewhat) challenges. I cannot seem to get to my actors page. My name is Julius Villanueva and my Id is jdive79. Everytime I log in, all I can see is my Id page. I was just credited for a new film but it's not my account. Do you know the technical side of this?

Julius: There are at least four people named Julius Villanueva in the database -- I mean with name pages, not necessarily user pages. See http://www.imdb.com/find?q=julius%20villanueva&s=nm&exact=true. Which of them is you?

@Gromit82:  Julius mentioned an "actor's page",
so I'll guess he's probably referring to the only
Julius Villanueva name page that shows an acting credit.
