I can't filter my watchlist for the language of the movie or the location? Why?

I remember this was really easy to do in "Refine" options but you took it away. Why did you get rid of this feature? Do I have to go over 750~ movies to find the ones that are shot in France or the ones including French as a spoken language?

You can use advance search for this at http://www.imdb.com/search/title

For example, all the movies in French on your watchlist -> http://www.imdb.com/search/title?languages=fr&lists=watchlist

Yes, thanks for the reply. I've already found about that but it's not really a better way, is it? Also could you please answer my other question about the rationale of this change? (or removal rather)
I'm pretty sure people knew about the refine options in watchlist and were using those in there, not in the way you linked.

Sorry, but you are not remembering the old options properly.  The old options on Watchlist are the same as the ones still available on any other list.  If you have any other lists, please pick one from http://www.imdb.com/profile/lists and see the range of filters on the right. Country and language filters have never been supported.

Here are the options which were available on Watchlist and are still available on other lists:

The only options removed from Watchlist were those in the "User Ratings" section and those can be done via advanced search.

Our user testing showed that the new simplified Watchlist interface performed significantly better for most users, and that power users who are missing features can usually operate the advanced search instead.   The new interface is also more portable and runs on more IMDb platforms, notably our popular mobile site at http://m.imdb.com/

Yes, thank you for the answer again. I'm clearly misremembering. Sorry for the disturbance and my silliness.

However it's still not as silly as shutting down the message boards.
