IMDb is a database that contains information about movies, TV Shows, videos and video games.
There are a few titles that are available to be watched on IMDb but these are generally short, independent titles. In general, IMDb does not have videos for streaming or for sale. Since it is owned by Amazon, IMDb does try to link titles to them if they have it.
IMDb was created by movie fans to record the on-screen credits from movies, so they could check up on who had worked on a film they had seen. It is still primarily a reference site to let you, for example, check on what movies an actor in (or the director of) a movie you have just seen has made, to decide if you want to see some of them. But once you do decide you want to see a particular film, you will need to go elsewhere to obtain it.
