As I don't answere links in emails, I don't know how to treat this. The text is:

Engineering (Official Rep) just asked this question in Get Satisfaction Operations (Data Issues & Policy Discussions):
mail loop test 1537321521

Did anybody else get this email? What's that about? What does this mean?

Hello, Breumaster

I, too, got this cryptic email. As far as I can tell, this might be a configuration testing process, which partly explains GetSatisfaction's (temporary) instability.

For example, some threads are accessible, while others generate the following message:

"Page not found :(

If you're looking for a product or company,

confirm that the community domain you entered is correct in the URL.

If you think you arrived at this page in error and found a bug,

please report it in the Get Satisfaction customer community."

I got the same.

Since the whole of GS is in shamble since yesterday, I derived that it was a technical test from admin.

BTW, I also received several mail notifications for other GS communities...

I hope we get a proper communication from GS once the whole thing is fixed, one way or another.

Hi, Vincent

Let's hope great things await in the near future... If not, I simply don't know what to do.  : )

Can you imagine life without a robust GS community? : )

I did not get one. Probably because I have barely had an account for 30 days. Also have never logged in at G.S. site.

Hi Jeorj,

I don't get the point and the connection between this maintenance, which is scheduled in 28 hours from now, and the GS havoc which started yesterday...

So, it is just a coincidence? I can believe that, but I don't know for sure.

Maybe they are on MMT instead of GMT. M for Martian! LOL

The IMDb community seems to be back and running, at least for the recent threads. But there are still a bunch of interesting threads which seem lost in oblivion...

I wish the GS admins would inform of what happened and what to expect in terms of losses and recoveries.
A mere normal IT behavior in such case...

I second the motion to reveal the fate of the missing link(s)! LOL
Vince, I too would like to access some of the more interesting Poll Suggestions.

Nice try, Jeorj.

I agree with you, Vincent. It seems that GS is now (fully) functional; however, there still are inaccessible threads (For example, Problem: Gender change seems to be rejected) that--in addition to the above-mentioned message--also generate the following notice when I hit the reply button.

"Oops, something went wrong.

Recent changes may not have been saved."

Translation: "GS is almost fully fictional again."

Bad part about those lost posts is the 3-6 that are from first time users. Checked the posts you cant read and you can select the poster. They would redirect if they were established. If they were new the loading circle would appear and go bye bye without displaying anything.

Got that top plus a few more GetSatisfaction notifications totally unrelated to IMDb.

Seems to be some GetSatisfaction technical issue.
