I have a crew member who breached contract and I want to remove them from the IMDb credits (as the contract states credit will be removed with breach). Can I do this without someone trying to add themselves back? I'd like my project page to be managed by myself only. Is this possible?

You may have a contract that permits you from removing them from accreditation on the films credits, but not at IMDb. IMDb is much like a reporter of news. It lists what it knows to be fact. Fact is/was that the individual was attached to the project, and now they are not. You may make a correction in the attributes for the credit that states the fact of that the person is "uncredited". But that is all that you can do. If you request a removal and it is approved, that person may resubmit, and it would be granted, because they "Can Prove" their attachment. Their attachment is the only fact that IMDb is concerned with. Accuracy. And it is accurate. There is no denying it. You have just stated so here.
Also be aware that IMDb monitors a contributors accuracy and if you remove correct factual information it will count against your accuracy. This would make your submissions have to pass through a higher level of scrutiny. So it is best not to delete the credit, but accurately reflect that crew members status as "Uncredited". You can also submit a trivia item to your film stating the reason for the dismissal. But be careful to state facts only. Embellishing the trivia beyond facts only may leave you liable for litigation by the aggrieved parties. Best to keep the parting of ways description to as mild as you can make it.
Hope that helps clarify things.
Need more, just ask.

P.S: IMDb Policy re-print........

IMDb aims to be the most comprehensive and reliable source of information on movies, TV and celebrities. We are committed to accuracy and it is our longstanding policy not to alter or remove correct factual information from our records. If you notice an error or omission in our data, please submit a correction or deletion via the "Edit page" button located at the bottom of every name and title page and our staff will be happy to review it and make all applicable changes. We have a guide to adding data here.

However, IMDb will not remove accurate information. If you try to delete an item of data which is accurate, your delete will not be processed. Please be aware that attempts to delete accurate data will count against your overall accuracy rating and may result in all your submissions taking longer to process along with additional proof requirements.
