I have a login problem that I can't fix. Before I updated Firefox I exported my passwords and login's, afterwards when I tried to import them back stupid Firefox will only offer to import passwords from IE which I never use.
I tried to fix it at IMDb, but my account is quite old and I have moved twice and I have no way to access email from my old ISP.
It has been years since the brief period when we had to register in order to post on the message boards (Which I did, 2002) my posts go back as far as 1998 I think.
The nic I'm using here is also my nic at IMDb.
I tried the "Lost password" process and got sent a nic that wasn't mine, but apparently he used my NEW email address to signup himself, which upset me, but I tried it to see if I could somehow get back into my own account, no joy.
I cannot get email from my old ISP (Charter).
I really want my account back, all those years are a badge of honor in a way.
Can you advise me on this? Something similar happened to someone else but I don't remember where the post was, just that the person said they made an account here, and got their old IMDb account back by answering a bunch of questions about it.
No one knows more about my account than me, lol.
I first saw IMDb on Usenet, hence my avatar where I fit part of the group name in a beveled black onyx square with easy to read pink letters.
Any help or pointer would be appreciated.
Edit: One thing no one but me would know- when I registered in 2002 I only had one credit card, I don't remember the number, but I can tell (not here of course) the name of the bank and what state and town it was in. also, my account has never been suspended, any help?
