I have a request for a new feature on the IMDb home page.
Daily I look up the Danish television program to see what movies are going toair and subsequently find myself checking these out for ratings etc. on theIMDb web page. My suggestion is then: would it be possible to create a featurethat would synchronize the specific users nationality with the nationaltelevision offerings of movies that particular day? Meaning, that if I (aDanish person) go to the web page tomorrow I would see the list of movies whichwould be available on Danish television. Just to get a quick overview of whatthe national television channels have to offer that specific day.

IMDb has, I believe, what you want, but only for the US.

I am very sure that the data is collected by a 3rd party and supplied to IMDb for display, but I can't find the name of this  company at the moment. I expect that IMDb would be willing to expand this to other countries if there was a single source for all countries. This is the case for IMDb's theatre listings which are all supplied by West World Media which according to their website covers 60 countries (although IMDb apparently has not implemented them all).

Since creating localized listings for TV is even more complex than for Movies and the amount of data so great that I am certain IMDb is not going to attempt to collect and maintain it themselves.

Since each feed would need to be maintained, I expect they would prefer a single world-wide supplier but I can also see one per continent. I think that one per country would probably be unacceptable.

I certainly would like to see this implemented for Canada.
