I watched a movie when I was younger that was on-On Demand, and it started with a couple who crashed their car and it was pouring down rain so they went to the closest place nearby which was a house and they went in and were introduced to this couple who had a son. They ended up there because of the bad things they’ve done or something like that and they had another couple there too. The son would dress up one of the women like a doll or something and they were weird. One of the guy’s ended up there because he wasn’t paying attention to his son playing outside and his son drowned in a lake. I have been trying to figure out the name for so long.

Is the son grownup or a child?

The son who drowned was a little boy. The son who dressed the woman up as a doll was grown.

Glad to hear from you. I forgot all about this inquiry. Unfortunately at no time in the past several months did I happen to come across any story like this. I wonder if it is one of those hokey Asylum Pictures.

Do you have any idea of a potential release date for this movie? Usually, this parameter narrows the search results.

I assume that the genre is horror, tell me if I'm wrong.

I believe the movie you are referring to is "House".

It was released c.2005, I think direct to Video.

Sec.

Edit: Here it is

House (2008)

If that is it, then you are pretty good to find movies out of nothing, because there is actually a ton of horror books and movies with an introduction similar to this one.
