For years, I've had numerous films and incorrect info listed in my IMDB profile (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1236012/). I've attempted to get them removed and to have my profile updated, many times over the years to no effect. A friend pointed me here so I'll give it another try.
The following titles listed in my profile should not be there as I never worked on these productions. I'm not in their credits and I have no idea how I got added to their pages:

- Dinner For Schmucks
- It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- Yes Man
- Street Kings
- Heartland
- Daybreak
- The O.C.
- The Shield
- Restraint
- Feel Like You Belong (I'm not even a DP)
I would love it if these could be removed so that my profile is finally correct and updated for the first time in years!

Mike I discounted all those names as they have credits. But not P.A. Credits.

List them anywhere you'd like as long as they don't apply to me. We, as employees, should have the right to counter and correct false information provided by studios, production companies, and productions in general. They can say I was part of their show and it goes up immediately, but I can't refute it with equal ease.
If you're offering a solution, I am all ears. I don't think the onus of correcting this should be on me (or others in similar positions), however.

We have a lot of good researchers that volunteer their time to find things that are needed by IMDb to prove participation/non-participation in projects.
Proof is required by IMDb to shift or delete credits. They are very demanding in this respect. So the more info you can provide, the better.

Getting to those credits now. This is going to sound a bit weird but finding those titles and pulling up the credits crawl and taking screenshots of the info and posting it here along with a URL for reference is pretty much is what is required. There is only a "Beales", Daniel as an alternative in the database as a similar name. So if those cretits have that spelling that proves your case. But if the spelling is the same, you are going to have to prove the existence of another Daniel that is not in the database.

Again, why is the onus on me, the user, to provide proof years after the fact, rather than you, the company, to verify information on the day of? Doesn't seem efficient or ethical.

I dayplayed all over town a LOT back in those days as a P.A., often bouncing from set to set one day to the next. I can't attest to why I have credits for shows that I never worked on, I can only attest to the fact that I did not work on them but somehow, here they are, allowed to be permanent fixtures in my personal data. I did not work on these shows. END.
