Greetings, Frederick.
From my experience, you will first need to wait for your contribution to be processed (i.e. accepted or rejected), and then submit it correctly after.

Hi Frederick -

As Drvobradi mentions, you cannot make edits to pending submissions. You will need to wait for the initial submission to be processed before you'll be able to resubmit the data with the previous submission. In those cases, you are more than welcome to resubmit the data from scratch before then, if you've noticed that you made a mistake.

Or, if you see that your incorrect information has already gone live on the site, you can submit a correction to the live data, and provide an explanation as to why the information is wrong.

For reference, you can also see our FAQ here: http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?badadd on how to deal with incorrect submissions.
