I need advice on an edit

I found a 'goof' on an episode of Enterprise.  The problem is that it's not really a goof, just a character not following his people's customs.

How do I deal with this?  I don't want to just delete the goof, since I don't think it's my place, but it's not accurate either.

Please, some advice would be appreciated.

First and foremost, I am not a member of the IMDb staff - I am just a user. Since I don't know exactly what you are referring to, the only think that I could do to help you is advising you to check out this link https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/guide/goofs. More specifically I guess that since:
B. Unacceptable Goofs
Artistic licence: Please allow for artistic licence on the part of the film makers. Most movies and TV shows are not meant to perfectly reflect reality as you experience it.
So in my humble opinion, you are right and this is not a goof.
However, you should be sure about the accuracy or the inaccuracy of the information before making a contribution or deletion.

OK, to be more specific, here's the 'goof':

"The Klingons giving Skalaar 6000 rather than their agreed to 9000 Darsecks is inconsistent with Klingon honor."

I just moved it to "Incorrectly regarded as goofs", I didn't know that was an option when I created this thread.

I guess the problem is solved.  Thanks for the help!
