I need help with submission guidelines

I have just received a "Decline" for a quote I submitted from a TV show. (#191224-201200-206000 ) The reason given was, "Does not meet submission guidelines." I have reviewed the guidelines and considered any possible problems, and I cannot see what is wrong. I need an explanation of why this quote was rejected, at least so that I don't waste time in future submitting other quotes that might have the same defect. If the community cannot help, then I request review by an IMDb staffer.

I don't know this for sure, but having had many submissions rejected when using the same sources that others were accepted for, I have a suspicion that it depends on the person who is reviewing the submissions that day.  Some have a more stringent view on what is acceptable and others are more lax.  Maybe that person was in a hurry to get off work that day and just rejected many en masse without actually examining them as closely as they should.  This has been a problem for me as well.

Hi Gerald,

Apologies for this, I have resubmitted the quote on your behalf and this should appear live on the site shortly.

Thanks
