Hi there,

My page only has one of my credits for one show that I have worked on. Firstly, it says 1 episode but I work on two seasons and was credited on all. I have seen how to edit information (add information) but not how to change number of episodes etc.

Also with editing, I'm trying to add my information (DOB, Birth place etc) but its asking me for a URL, I don't have a URL but I know it is correct.

And finally, there are also many other shows which I have worked on (credited on some and not others) which I would like added to this. The categories available are very open and don't know how to add exact titles.

Thanks for your help.

this is my page, as you can see, it looks very poor at the moment.

Thanks again

The number of Episodes is not directly editable. Actually a Series page should have no Cast or Crew credits stored with it. All such credits nIt eed to be entered on the various Episodes; the system then 'rolls up' those credits and enters the result, including the number of episodes on the displayed Series page. So, to get the number correct you just need to add the credits to the actual Episodes.

It is strongly recommended that you enter TV series credits from the episode rather than your Name page. The reason for this is the complex format of the Episode Title; for example the Episode you are currently credited with would need to be entered as "Brainiac: Science Abuse" (2003) {Picnic (#5.1)} and if any of the characters is missed the system will not accept it.

If you were credited identically on many episodes there is a shortcut. Start from the Series page, click on the Edit page button and then select to enter one Miscellaneous Crew credit. Fill in the name, occupation and, if needed the attribute. Then click on the list icon at the bottom right corner of the Episodes box. This will open a javascript dialog that will let you add multiple episodes. Once you have selected all the appropriate episodes, you can submit them with a single click

IMDb has had a lot of problems with people submitting incorrect dates of birth, so they now require evidence in the form of some official information. This can be official birth records or birth notices in newspapers, particularly if the submitter is not the person involved. In the case of the named individual submitting their own birthdate, the most common method of supplying evidence is to scan an official document, and then upload it to the web. Then, they supply the URL of the scan in the Explanation.  IMDb prefers a Passport as evidence, but a Driver's License is also acceptable.

If you have Dropbox, that is a very good option as you can control who sees the item, and can easily delete it once the data appears on your name page.

For other credits, only a few of the most common credits are shown in the upper box. However, you can key a more specific occupation in the other box. Also you can see all the ones that have been used by clicking on the list icon at the bottom right of the data entry box. Clicking on one of those items will enter it for you.
