I started a free trial last month and forgot to cancel it, but how could you charge me an annual subscription fee without any notification>!

I started a free trial last month and forgot to cancel it, but how could you charge me an annual subscription fee without any notification?!
It is understandable if you charge for only one month's fee, but how come an annual fee for 149 bucks?!
That is ridiculous! Hope to get my money back!!!
