I was the Best Boy Grip for the TV show 24 for the first 2 1/2 SEASONS with Mike Reyes as the key grip! I've submittedthis a couple of times ove the last couple of YEARS and for some reason I don't understand the credit hasn't shown up! This is very aggravating since others I've submitted have been approved in a couple of days! Do you want me to send in the picture of Kiefer and my wife and newborn baby? Maybe the special crew jacket I got made for the grip crew after season 2? What is it going to take?

Hi Jim -
If your episode credits are still missing can you post the most recent credit submission reference number here?

They ARE still missing. I thank you for reaching out to me too! This is driving me NUTS as I'm sure you can understand. The number I could dig up is 140326-214420-273000 from 3/26 last year! I did have someone tell me that they had someone else as Key Grip too which is not correct. If you go to Mike Reyes you'll see that he worked on 24, Phone Booth, and American Pie2 - ALL WITH ME or I should say I worked with him. I was the one who got the call from Rodney Charters and turned the show over to him as I preferred to be a Best Boy! We did the first 2.5 years leaving in Nov./Dec. 2004. I've taken the liberty of adding a crew photo from season one @Stocker Oil fields. L to R Sid (Zoli) Hadji- B dolly, Fritz Webber- grip, Me (bandanna),Jeff Tomhave - grip, Mike Listorti - a dolly, Dave Parker- grip, Scott Smith(sitting)- grip, and Mike Reyes(sitting). The two guys in background are Sergi Guestiempo(spelling?) - standby painter, and the Medic ( I don't remember his name anymore. Obviously Kiefer too.

Hi Jim -
I reviewed the submission you referenced, however, instead of adding credits for the TV Series "24" this credit was submitted to the "24" TV Movie.
In order to be listed for your work on the TV Series, you will need to submit your missing episode credits.
Credits on episodic TV shows must be submitted as additions to all individual episodes of the show, rather than to the main listing for the series.
Please also note that if you worked on several episodes/seasons, multiple episode submissions for the same credit are easier if you go to the main page of the show and click on the 'Edit Page' button. After selecting 'Add 1 Item' next to the correct type of credit, you will be presented with a screen where you can enter the name of the person and an 'Episodes' field. Clicking on the 'arrow' icon next to the 'Episodes' field will display a list of all known episodes for that show: you can select all applicable ones and submit the same credit for all of them at the same time.

I would re-submit it if it was a year ago like the one you posted a number for. Then post the new submission ID number.
Do you have a screen capture of your name in the on screen credits? If not credited, did you submit it with the "attribute" of "(uncredited)"? If so, can you add any documentation that shows you worked it? The picture you included, and those you suggested above, don't really prove what you're trying to add.
Also, if the wrong name is listed, did you try correcting that listing instead of adding a new entry? That would be the proper thing to do if it's accurate that another name was credited where yours should be. Also, did you submit to add your credits to the episodes on which you worked? That's where you need to add them.

YES, I fixed the incorrect credit.(for me on the wrong "24") Unfortunately, as it has been 10 years, I don't have any call sheets or the like. Just pictures and memories. Best boys are not usually given credits so no screenshots. Yes I submitted it as uncredited. This is so frustrating! I've been dealing with this for so long I'd give up, but now I'm mad. I don't understand why you cannot contact the producer or UPM I gave you? And, someone may have the credit for MY work! I'm assuming that the credit is filled because someone sent me an email stating "all credits have been filled" Should I try to change that? (if I can find it?). I appreciate your help in this too. Just to give you the back story..... I moved out of LA in 2004 mainly because of the birth of my daughter. I was injured in 2005 and OUT of commission until 2009. I didn't even know about IMDB until around then. Then I did I started to get credits added.
Trying to add credits to the individual episodes is VERY difficult. I tried to add them LIKE THEY SHOW ON MY KEY GRIP's page (see Mike Reyes). I will try again and contact you.....
Thanks,
Jim Downing

I don't process submissions, being a user, not staff. But, I'd say with hundreds, if not thousands, of submissions coming over their desks today, and more tomorrow, and on and on, they don't have time to go tracking down third party sources and making phone calls, etc. It's up to us to put the evidence in front of them. If they could do such a thing, why can't you and have them provide documents if they have them, then post them here for evidence?
What episodes are we talking about? I don't see Reyes listed in the first one. You said the first 2 1/2 years, is it all episodes in that period and for the 1/2, up to which episode? Did you add them to the episodes or try to add at series level? They need to be added to episodes (this is why having the Submission ID Numbers help to show what you've been submitting).

MIKE REYES... look him up! I was his best boy! His are listed as "day 1, day 2, day 3. That's what I tried to do. Why am I getting such a runaround for this ONE credit? I've added many and had no problem. I just don't understand. IMDB has become a source for prospective clients and should get them RIGHT! I can tell you anything you want to know about BEHIND the scenes. How could I do that if not there. I've got another Picture of Kiefer holding my baby too, but that's not good enough. If I had ANY reason to keep a check stub for 10 years I would have. Much less a call sheet or even a crew list. You really think a UPM is going to have any documents from 10 years ago? I don't even think EP would still have any payroll info. So where does that leave me? If it hadn't taken almost a year to hear from you I might still have the numbers. Again, keep them for almost a year? Who would? I'll resubmit I guess and see what happens. Would someone faking this be so adamant and have the info I have? If IMDB were this strict all the time I wouldn't have HALF the credits I have. I just don't understand the inconsistency.

I don't see his name on the first episode (and see no relevance to your situation). I also looked at all the Mike Reyeses listed and none are credited in 24. If you're seeing differently, can you provide a link to the page?
I don't appreciate the histrionics and odd offers to supply baby pictures as evidence. I see what you mean about runarounds being annoying and wish you luck.
Keep in mind IMDb's mission is to document on screen credits, you'll usually need evidence for them to make the exception for you to list uncredited work. It's not their top priority and you can't expect tbem to do any more ten year old leg work than even you would want to do.
