Hi Michael.
Can you provide proof that you were not involved with those projects?
IMDb Employees will need this to be able to assist you further.
Thanks

Ed

How can I prove a negative? Maybe look at my Editorial Department credits and see that I am a feature film editor who has other credits during the same time period.

Michael, ”deleting” the credits will rarely work in these cases, since it would delete the credits from IMDb altogether.

Do you mean that there are credits in your filmography that belong to some other person with the same, or very similar, name? In that case they should be moved, not deleted.

In any case, more info is probably needed.

Yes, I assume so. All I know is that I did not work on that show.

Hi Michael,
As Eboy pointed out, removing credited credits is hard.
Moving them to the correct person "IF" they exist is preferred.
Of that Eboy is 100% correct.
Providing proof is easy.
Find those titles and pull the credits by way of a screen grab And post them here to show the named credit belongs to another person.
But if the billing credits do indeed show a Michael J. Wechsler you will get rejected as this is IMDb's policy. This is reprinted from the help pages.

I tried to delete data, but it still appears on IMDb. Why?

IMDb aims to be the most comprehensive and reliable source of information on movies, TV and celebrities. We are committed to accuracy and it is our longstanding policy not to alter or remove correct factual information from our records. If you notice an error or omission in our data, please submit a correction or deletion via the "Edit page" button located at the bottom of every name and title page and our staff will be happy to review it and make all applicable changes. We have a guide to adding data here.

However, IMDb will not remove accurate information. If you try to delete an item of data which is accurate, your delete will not be processed. Please be aware that attempts to delete accurate data will count against your overall accuracy rating and may result in all your submissions taking longer to process along with additional proof requirements.

If you need more, we are all here to help.

Good Luck
Cheers
